General
Rigid insulation is not sensitive to moisture, as it’s closed cell structure it does not absorb water.

Flat Roofing
On flat roofs there is always a risk that trough condensation absorption of moisture could occur. This problem can be prevented by calculating the construction carefully well in advance. By using EcoTherm insulation the chance of condensation absorption will be minimised.

Pitched Roofing
On pitched roof snow or broken roofing tiles can lead to water leaking onto the wooden sarking or breather membranes. EcoTherm insulation does not absorb moisture or water which will easily drain straight to the gutter.

Cavity Wall
Since the 70’s, when insulation became popular, constructors decided to fill the cavity wall of existing houses. These applications often lead to serious moisture problems. Whilst we do not recomend prolonged exposure to moisture, EcoTherm Cavity Wall is the ideal solution for this problem.
