EcoTherm and the environment

Our polyurethane an polyisocyanurate (PUR/PIR) products are essential as the most efficient means of minimising heat energy loss from modern buildings.

1m3 of PIR saves 40km3 of CO2; that’s 60kg of CO2
over 75yrs – 50% more than traditional insulation.

All our insulation boards are manufactured from CFC- and HCFC-free grades of material which ensure zero ozone depletion potential (ZERO ODP) and a global warming potential (GWP) factor of 3 which comfortably surpasses the target of 5.

Within 8 months users will have recouped the energy
required to produce the EcoTherm product.

Whenever we use timber,such as in our Eco-Deck laminated roof decking, it is Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified which gives assurance that it is legal and sustainable at every stage of its chain of custody.

Accelerated lab tests have proved that PUR/PIR insulation boards are among the most durable construction products.They will not rot, shrink, absorb moisture, or decay as some fibre board or organic insulation materials may, and so they will deliver design insulation values throughout the full life of the building. And of course all our products are recyclable.
