For better bonding in high wind uplift areas
EcoTherm Bitu-Therm has a rigid polyurethane (PUR) and polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam core faced with bitumenised glass coated tissue on both sides.
Bitu-Therm features:
- Ideal for applications where the waterproof membranes require a high degree of bonding,eg in coastal situations exposed to high wind uplift
- Meets the thermal requirements of the UK Building Regulations
- Withstands the application of hot bitumen to the surface up to 220ºC
- Available in standard 600 x 1200mm boards that can be laid to a variety of laying patterns
- Compatible with most bitumen based roof waterproofing systems
