Eco-Protect - For Solid Walls, Timber Frame Walls & Rainscreen

Eco-Protect provides Class O fire performance thermal insulation solutions for timber frame walls or internal solid walls.  It can also be used in rainscreen facade applications up to 18 metres.

Applications

Suitable for use in between and over the studs of timber frame walls and as insulated sheathing in new homes and buildings.  Eco-Protect can also be used internally on existing solid or cavity walls to upgrade their thermal performance and in rainscreen facade applications up to 18 meters.  The thermal performance of EcoTherm's Eco-Protect will keep the wall thickness to a minimum and provide a cost effective means of reducing CO2 emissions and compliance with Building Regulations/Standards.

Eco-Protect benefits:

  • PIR thermal insulation core helps easily achieve Building Regulations
  • Class O fire performance
  • Excellent thermal performance for minimum wall thickness, maximising internal space
  • Rigid boards are easy to cut and fit between studs
  • Lightweight boards will not weigh down the structure
  • Will not rot, sag or decay and will therefore continue to deliver designed insulation values throughout the lifetime of the building - no need to replace

Eco-Protect can also be used to insulate pitched roofs.
