EcoTherm's thermal rigid insulation boards are an ideal solution to insulating:
The excellent thermal performance of the boards means less thickness (approx half) is required when compared to traditional forms of insulation - saving space internally where it matters the most. Meet thermal standards and Building Regulations with minimal thickness in walls without the need to alter the thickness of the construction or your chosen method.
There is always a practical limitation to the width of a cavity in buildings. This limitation requires the thinnest possible insulation material to provide an acceptable cavity, which will inhibit the passage of rainwater to the inner skin. This is in addition to providing sufficient thermal resistance to allow cavity wall insulation to meet the building re
gulations. EcoTherm® cavity wall insulation solutions do all this and more.
PARTIAL FILL MASONRY WALLS
EcoTherm® Eco-Cavity wall insulation boards are ideal for masonry walls. Comprising a fibre free rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core faced with an aluminium foil composite on both sides, the boards are conveniently sized to co-ordinate with brick and block dimensions and to allow the insertion of wall ties at the appropriate spacing.
FULL FILL MASONRY WALLS
Eco-Cavity Full Fill
EcoTherm® Eco-Cavity Full Fill allows users to optimise the full cavity with high performing thermal insulation, meaning u-values and Building Regulations can be met without altering standard construction designs. Eco-Cavity Full Fill prevents the need to increase cavity space and overall wall width to accommodate larger thicknesses of traditional insulation materials.
Internal Wall Insulation
EcoTherm offers Eco-Liner, an insulated plasterboard that enables internal wall insulation in one easy application without impacting on the interior space. This internal insulation is ideal for upgrading the thermal performance of existing buildings by insulating from the inside. It can be used internally on solid walls, cavity walls or to line timber frame walls, but also to line the underside of pitched roof rafters to create a room in the roof.
Eco-Liner provides a cost effective means of reducing CO2 emissions for compliance with Building Regulations.
EcoTherm® Eco-Liner comprises a fibre free polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core bonded to 12.5mm tapered edge gypsum plasterboard. It insulates and dry lines in one application and can be either mechanically fixed or dot and dab applied.
Timber Frame Wall Insulation
When it comes to building lightweight, energy efficient structures, timber frame is at the top of the list. EcoTherm's foil faced thermal insulation Eco-Versal or Eco-Protect are ideal for insulating a timber frame structure, whether it is assembled on or off site.
Firstly, the excellent thermal performance of EcoTherm's PIR insulation will keep the wall thickness to a minimum but still help reach Building Regulations with ease. By keeping the walls to a reasonable thickness the internal space can be maximised. Also, the rigid boards can be simply and easily cut to fit between and over studs. The insulation boards will not rot, sag or decay and will therefore continue to deliver designed insulation values throughout the lifetime of the building.
EcoTherm® Eco-Versal has a fibre free rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core with composite aluminium foil facings on both sides
EcoTherm® Eco-Protect comprises a fibre free PIR insulation core board faced with pure aluminium foil on both sides. Eco-Protect provides Class O fire performance.
