Thin Cavity Wall Insulation

There is always a practical limitation to the width of a cavity in buildings. This limitation requires the thinnest possible insulation material to provide an acceptable cavity, which will inhibit the passage of rainwater to the inner skin. This is in addition to providing sufficient thermal resistance to allow cavity wall insulation to meet the building regulations. EcoTherm® Eco-Cavity cavity wall insulation does all this and more.

Our Eco-Cavity is rigid polyisocyanurate foam with aluminium foil composite on both sides. It is a high performance insulation used as a partial cavity fill within traditionally built masonry. It is conveniently sized so that the boards co-ordinate with brick and block dimensions and to allow the insertion of wall ties into the construction at the appropriate spacing. All EcoTherm® products are PIR based insulants which offer excellent performance without impacting upon available space.

Eco-Cavity (formerly Cavity Wall Board)

Eco-Cavity wall insulation boards are ideal for stud walls. They consist of a rigid PIR foam core with aluminium foil composite to both faces. This is the ultimate in cavity wall insulation offering the lowest U value available.

Internal Wall Insulation

EcoTherm® offers a dry lining board that enables internal wall insulation in one easy application without impacting on the interior space. This internal insulation enables the upgrading of the thermal performance of existing buildings by insulating from the inside.

Eco-Liner is a PIR foam board bonded to 12.5mm tapered edge gypsum plasterboard. It has been developed especially for internal insulation and dry lining applications. Available in thicknesses of 37.5mm to 112.5mm in board sizes of 2400x1200mm. Two versions are available: Eco-Liner Dab has a clay filled glass fibre tissue face; ideal for adhesive (dab) bonding and higher thermal performance. Eco-Liner Fix has a high performance aluminium foil backing suitable for mechanically fixed systems.

Eco-Liner Dab is used to thermally dry line a wall using a proprietary gypsum adhesive. It is ideal for insulating a solid brick or block wall. This is the ultimate in interior wall insulation offering the lowest U value available.

Eco-Liner Fix

Eco-Liner Fix is used to thermally dry line a wall using a fixing system. It is ideal for insulating a solid brick or block wall via a timber frame or battens. It can also be used with a metal framing system or fixed directly to a timber frame.
