EcoTherm® have launched a new pre-insulated loft decking board specifically designed for upgrading the thermal performance of a loft floor and providing a safe storage option in a one board solution. EcoTherm’s Eco-Loft board comprises of tough 18mm FSC certified chipboard securely bonded to our high performing rigid PIR foil faced insulation.
Suitable for both existing and new build properties, EcoTherm’s new Eco-Loft makes upgrading loft floor insulation simple and enables home owners to achieve thermal building regulations with ease. The 0.54m2board is light and easy to handle, non-itchy and saves space in the loft area - 75mm of rigid PIR insulation is the equivalent of 135mm of traditional loft insulation.
The 18mm FSC chipboard creates a solid decked area above the rafters, providing a walk-able platform and safe storage area. The long edges of the chipboard are tongue and grooved, reducing fixing time and ease of installation significantly.
