Truro College
The two nearly identical new educational buildings at Truro College are another excellent example of how roofing systems are being used to meet the requirements of the new Building Regulations Part L without compromising the designers desire to produce aesthetically pleasing buildings.
These stunning roofs, curving downwards from three stories to drainage arrow heads at ground level, were completed earlier this year
Consisting of profiled steel deck, vapour control layer, EcoTherm 50mm insulation and fully adhered light grey membrane, each roof is finished with ‘Standing Seam’ effect and a narrow arrowhead ‘shute’ formed from steel deck overlaid with 18mm ply and light grey membrane.
In our opinion these Lilly Lewarne designed buildings are a striking addition to the Truro College campus.
